A Template is a type of Joomla Extension that changes the way your site looks. There are two types of Templates used in Joomla Front-end Template & Back-end Template.
Front-end Template– Its controls the way your website is presented to the user viewing the website’s content.
Back-end Template- Its controls the way your website’s administrative tasks are presented for controlling management functions by a Joomla Administrator.
Let’s See How to Install the Templates in Your Joomla Website
Step 1: First you need to download your favorites templates from any of the website the download file will be in ZIP format.
Step 2: Login to your Joomla Administrative area.
Step 3: Then Navigate to Extensions -> Manage -> Install
Step 4: Then you will see the below page. Now you need to browse and upload your downloaded Template here.
After Successfully installed you will get the message like this
Step 5: Then Select the Extensions -> Templates Button
Step 6: Then you will get the page like below, Now you have to choose newly installed template and select the Default button to set the template to your Joomla website
Now Visit your Joomla Website it will look like the Template style
Let’s See How to Uninstall the Templates in Your Joomla Website
Step 1: Navigate to Extensions -> Manage -> Manage
Step 2: Select the Template you want to uninstall and click the Uninstall button at the top of the page
Then you will see the message like below “Uninstalling the template was successful“.
