FTP account for use on your Joomla website
This tutorial covers the Steps for configuration your FTP in Joomla website. it will allow you to install easily a number of components or themes directly via the administrative area of your website.
To Configure FTP in Joomla you need to follow the below steps
Step 1: To create FTP account, you need to log into your cPanel and go to the Files tab and then select FTP Accounts.

Step 2: Enter the details of your FTP account

Login: The user name of your FTP account
Password/Password(Again): The password for your FTP account
Directory: Enter the directory of your Joomla installation.
Quota: Set the FTP limitation Quota are set that Unlimited.
Finally click on the create FTP account button to create it.
Step 3: Next login to your Joomla Administrative area and Navigate to System tab top of the site and select Global Configuration

Step 4: Select the Server tab.

Now you have seen the FTP Setting section and enter the details for your new FTP account
Enable FTP: Select the Yes Icon
FTP Host: Enter the Host Name for the FTP service
FTP Port: Enter the FTP Port number 21
FTP Username: The username of your FTP account, Created in the Previous step
FTP Password: Enter the FTP account Password
FTP Root: This field requires the location of your Joomla website

Click on the Save & Close button to keep the changes.
